Hello. Most of You may remember me, I was trying to make a secrets speedrun of TR: TLR. I didn't finish it tho, and it had too many mistakes. Now I want to make much better speedrun, so first of all I want to complete the game so I will know what items do I need, to avoid wasting any time.

I need any tips I can get. You can watch my canceled speedrun at:

Any help to improve a quality of my speedrun welcomed :)

Hmm, watching the first run of your playlist and here are two things I noticed:

Also, I haven't watched the other videos, so I don't know if you do it, but you can turn faster if you draw your pistols (http://youtu.be/CnwZdVAKMSA).

Good luck! =]

Please excuse me if some of my remarks are obvious.

Tomb of Seth

- I think you can skip shooting scorpions. Check Ewil's runs.
- You probably don't need all those small medis, but that kind of planning needs the whole run to judge. Maybe ammo pickups, too. Again, Ewil's runs can help, although the secrets may require extra resources.
- 3:45 A curve jump can land you farther along the path. If you can contrive for the guide to be close behind you, he will push you along a square or two during the cutscene. Try killing only one of the jackals - his biting won't hurt you during the cutscene.

Yeah, a practice run should be your best option, although TRIV is fairly easy game for enemies or traps, so you shouldn't need that much more medipacks than I used in my GG run.

Well, I think I'll start from doing runs from the first two levels, and then make a practice 'runthrough' for the rest of the game. Btw, it was hard for me. Is bypassing trigger squares considered a glitch?

Yes, it is.

EDIT by Ewil: It's because you use corner bug to do that.

Of course, merely walking around a trigger square is not a glitch. But using embedding to jump though the corner (even if you never actually bug up), or using a jump-by bug (a sort of half a crack bug), are glitches.

So there are no improvements in Angkor Wat, other than basic movement mistakes.
Oh, I can work on Von Croy triggering in waterfall area. It can be done smoother I guess.
